Remembering The Luke... On His Gotcha Day

June 20, 2008
The Luke and The Mom became a The Family!

Visit The Luke's Blog for photos of that wonderful day,
as I reflect on this day... just last year.
It seems like just yesterday...
We were so happy.
Life changes quickly.

The Luke taught us to cherish the moments...
to LIVE each of them.
The joy in his soul touched us in so very many ways...
And our memories rekindle that Spirit.

And speaking of Joy and Memorials...
You can't imagine how surprised and touched we are
to have received this thoughtful memorial banner!

Presented to us by Our Cherished Friends
Hamish and Sophie, Sheila and Bob...

The Mom will treasure this gorgeous banner Forever.
It is, after all, one of the Mom's favorite photos...
with the Luke's paw on her foot.
Equally, or maybe even more important...
this special flag reminds us of

ALL the treasured relationships
we've gained

through the Luke.
They are many. We are Blessed.
And we thank each and every one of You.

I think [hope] You know...
Your Support, Friendship and Love
held us up in the dark times.
We love you all.

In other perfect memorial timing...
The Mom received her Rainbow Bridge bracelet today.

She loves it.
It made her cry... [yes, again!].

June 20, 2008
Two Souls were rescued that day.

One knew right away...
The Other reserved judgment for a while...

For fun, check out his blog from those days!

[FYI... My the Mom is a grinner, not a smiler...
but I'm pretty sure that's a SMILE!!!]

Thank you all for your Friendship and Support...

It sure didn't take long for us to fall in love with The Luke, what a charmer he was.

Your new foundation for funds for the Golden Rescue organization sounds like a wonderful idea. I will be joining fairly soon.

Cheers,
Jo, Stella and Zkhat

Bleu,

Yes we loved The Luke, but we also love The Mom, The Reufus and The Bleu.
The garden flag is a reminder that The Luke is always watching over you all. He will be a part of your life, The Mom's and The Reufeu's and all whose lives he touched forever.
