Friday Night Wrights!

Happy Friday Night!
It's been a very exciting day around here for reasons that I'm not yet at liberty to disclose... but it might have to do with a certain handsome boy expressing his gratitude in a public way. And I would hardly describe the Reuf as handsome. Cute, maybe... but not yet handsome. And I'll leave it at that, for now!

It's our favorite kind of Friday Night, and that means that we are sitting around here, visiting with friends and basking in the goodness and joy of our everyday life!

And one thing we're thinking about is... our sleep pattern.

Our schedule these days includes the Mom waking me up in the middle of the night to go outside. Yes, you read that right... She wakes me up to go outside.

And that's because it's best that my bladder is emptied as often as possible. Have a doctor tell my the Mom something like that... and you will be set up on a regular and often trip outside FOREVER... I'm not complaining, and neither is she!

Our routine is that the Mom gets up, disarms the alarm, wakes me up, calls me to the door and I go out. The Mom stands by the back door and watches what I do. I do small business, come right back in and go straight back to bed.

And all the while, Reuf slumbers in his kennel.

I have never been a morning person. I have always preferred to sleep in... and in fact, I never truly wake up until around 1030am. On the Mom's schedule, I'm outside at 230am and could sleep until 630am... but the Reuf starts quietly banging on the kennel at 430am, whether it's week or weekend! (We usually get up around 5am during the week).

All of that to say... We are stayin up now so that we can go outside late, so that we can get up in the middle of the night and be back to bed in time to get up super early! And to quote the Mom... "small price to pay, we'll happily do it FOREVER!"!

This is not an appropriate time to tell you how Reufus has destroyed our home blinds, so I will just say this... We are working very hard with his training!.

We've made oodles of progress, but there's no need to replace anything yet. Sigh. Not yet...

On a brighter note, I offer you these FrEYEday SKYday photos!
Due to my super secret project today, I was a little late getting out to take my SKYday photos . I think this may mean that BLEU is a bit muted, but I think you can still enjoy the tranquility with me!
Of course, I heard again this morning... Meteorologists predict a warm, dry winter, and that means that the drought and fire danger will continue for quite some time.

So just like I tell the Reuf, "Good looks can be deceiving!"

Well, I've got BIG plans for tomorrow... SPA day and PHOTO shoot in the morning! Costume Crafts in the afternoon!

Night Night, My Friends!

Thank You for your support of The Love Protocol!
Thank You, Team Bleu!!!

You're sounding very mysterious there, Bleu! I'm curious about things now.

I'm glad you get to sleep during the day to recover while your mom goes to work! All that going outside must be exhausting!

Bleu, you sure know how to keep people hanging.......but whatever you have cooked up will no doubt be something we will all enjoy.
Don't look at the clock, when "The Mom" gets you up to go outside, that way you won't know the time.

You get 100% of my love protocol and 100% of my cuddles, dear the Bleu. Don't be too hard on the Reuf, he's a kid after all...

Sure sounds like you have a lot of big plans there, Bleu. Mom doesn't like it at all when one of us has to go out in the middle of the night because then the youngster here thinks it is rising time and won't go back to his crate quietly. But we do start early in the morning here too, we are up before the rooster crows.

Have a great time today.
