My Big Little Brother Reuf!

Hey, Ya'all... I've been remiss in providing a real and thorough introduction to my new little brother, but I promise to do so very soon! I continue to gather my thoughts on this life altering joyful and energetic addition to our family... and I would have shared them with you already, but the Mom says they need editing! But I digress...

Our Little Reufus is really not so little any more. He's growing by leaps and bounds, and me and the Mom have been trying to guess his weight... the Mom by picking him up when he's obstinate, and me by dividing impact by velocity to calculate mass. [or something like that, I might need to check my math]
So anyway... we were kinda excited to have my and The Luke's Doctor Mark meet our little hellion wonderful new addition to our family! We were eager to have him give little Reufus the once or twice over and give us his prognosis!

And it appears that the Reuf was curious to know what he weighed, too... Upon arrival in "the room", he quickly checked out the scales!
For the most part, he was a good boy... though he was a bit nervous during the short wait for Doctor Mark. The Mom said sweet things to him, and took a few really awkward nice photos...
I was pretty upset to be left behind when they boarded the trolley, but to be honest... there was a blissful peace in the home while they were away! Reufus came home tired, too, and I have a keen appreciation for that condition!
Routine dictates that we all go outside and do businesses, but I couldn't wait to come back in and get my paws and eyes on his report! And here's what it said:
  1. unusually white, clear eyes
  2. hips and knees = no issues noted
  3. good, clean teeth
  4. fecal negative... ewwwww
  5. appears, correctly, to be about 10 months old
  6. boosters and new shots given. return in 3-4 weeks for boosters.
  7. continue with HeartGuard until our supply is exhausted and then administer Advantage Multi
  8. return in September for second heartworm test
  9. 3/5... = perfect weight to body size... and DRUM ROLL, PLEASE...
  10. 64 POUNDS!
Whshhhhhhhew... all great news! But the best part is... at the risk of repeating myself... Reuf is tired! And that means good rest, peace and comfort for me! Just saying.
with love from

I really do think The Reuf and The Harley are one in the same ;-)

Mom experienced Khousin Harley attempting to take her out with a straight-a-head run at her -

Good think the old girl is still pretty light on her feet -

Bleu, Thanks for introducing us to your new little, er not so little....brother.
Good vet report, we look forward to getting to know Reufus and of course we know you will supply a unbiased opinion as to how he is meshing with you and The Mom.

Enjoy your peace and quiet, Bleu, because trust me, those puppies don't stay down for long! Morgan is two and she's still like the darned Energizer Bunny!

WOWZA! Reufus tips the scales at about what Mr. Scout weighs. How cool is that. Of course, Mr. Scout will be 11 this August and the Reufus is as momma would say, 'a Spring children'. We ♥ Spring chickens, especially baked with no bones an' skin (does that make us cannibals? Don't think so - gotta check).

Wooo - 64 lbs and so young. We are suspecting that he might give Mr. Bleu a run for the money in the tall department, just saying (and you know we had to do that).

P.S. - Our word of the day is pitypor. Pity Por Bleu having to put up with the Reufus.
