A Tisket A Tasket, I Love my Bleu Basket!

Let me just say that there are not enough fun holidays, so when this beautiful Bleu Bunny Basket was delivered by the Aunt Karen the other night... I didn't ask questions!
Well... I did ask the one question: "For me???!!!"
My The Aunt Karen is awesome,
and she knows all the important bunnies in all the important places...
Easter and otherwise!
And she alsoknows my favorite color...
PINK!!!
The basket was full of all sorts of goodies...
including some for the Reufus!
Where... you ask... is he???
*ahem*
Reufus had to be excused for the first half of the photo shoot.
And that's all I will say.

Before he kills his toys, I'd like to share this photo...
The beaver and duck...
were such a nice, cute, peaceful pair.
It was nice to knwo them!
And now...
Here's the Reufus!
He's checking it all out...
And I believe we were told to "sit"...
*ahem*
*ahem*
I'm told that the name 'Reufus' is derived from the Latin word for 'red'.

From my own observations...
'Reufus' is derived from the Golden word for
'adorably cute yet unrepentently wicked boy, chock full o the mischief'!
Just saying.

Reuf is a super smart, sweet and loving boy.
He is just a puppy with explosive enthusiasm!

Here he is, demonstrating that he knows what 'sit' means!

He is very wiggly, a little clumsy...
and VERY convinced of his own fabulousness!

He's not very careful where he's going or where he's stepping...
So, I get out of the way!
The Mom gave me my very cute pink hen...
and she [the hen] made me smile!!!
OK, Reufus... the Aunt Karen the Easter Bunny said that the PINK STUFFIES are MINE!!!
And it's ok for now...
The Reuf took off lickity split with his toys,
trying to keep both in his mouth at the same time...!
He settled in to concentrate his affections...
You can't tell it here, but he's working on both
his ducky AND his beaver!
And here is the Reuf... proudly displaying his ducky!!!
[mere moments after beheading the beaver.
May he rest in peace.]
I've nver known a Bunny to share his carrots...
But I do know that My The Aunt Karen
is a believer in a Sweet Boy...
eating his vegetables, especially when he's trying to shed a few pounds... like me.
There was a LOT of stuff in that basket...
but there was
MORE LOVE than anything else!!!

Just saying.

Here is the grateful Reuf.
He is beaming with the happiness!!!
And my pink stuffies rock. They deu!
[*cock-a-deudle-deu*]
The Easter Bunny is tops in our books,
and so is the Aunt Karen!
Happy Sunday, Everybody!

A Safer Choice in Sleeping Companions...

Given the precarious situation I found myself absent mindedly snuggled up in the other night, I am not heretofore more careful.

And this night, I choose pink bunny, which is actually a bear in a bunny suit, and one of three (bears in pink, green and purple bunny suits) that that were delivered to Luke and me by the
Easter Bunny!

Luke and I share our toys really well. And there has never been a spat, not even one.

And that is because of three things.

The first one is that there were no toys available to us in the first six days of our slumber party.

And then on Night 6 (New Year's Eve), Mom brought home my trousseau!

Luke and I had already made a brotherly connection, and even though I knew the basket was mine... I allowed Luke first pick. It was the least I could do for him, since he opened up his home and him Mom to me. Right?

And actually, I very rarely play with the toys in my hope basket, but prefer those I have been given in this new life. My first life was wonderful, really it was... but here, I am Co-King, with no chance for de-throning. There is singing and there is happiness and I have more nick names than ever. Life is really all about me and my brother... THE Luke!
